SPRAY CORK INSULATION

SANACORK, obtained from the bark pruning of cork oak trees, is made by mixing microgranules of cork and a small percentage of mineral fillers, with acrylic resins and specific additives dispersed in an aqueous emulsion.

This paste-like mix, with a density between 0.5 and 0.7 grams/cm³, creates a compound with remarkable insulating properties, combined with excellent adhesion, elasticity, and durability over time. Its applicability to various substrates makes this finish ideal for natural thermal insulation using environmentally friendly, healthy, ecological, and easily disposable solutions at the end of their life cycle.

FIELDS OF APPLICATION

  • SANACORK combines insulating and decorative functions for both exterior and interior coatings, providing a rustic look typical of “natural design”. It can be used in civil, residential, and industrial settings, and is ideal for high-traffic areas such as swimming pools, gyms, wellness centers, hotels, and restaurants.
  • SANACORK, thanks to its spray application and special formulation, can be easily applied to various substrates: masonry, concrete, sheet metal, fiber cement, natural stone, tiles, wood, wood fiber, fiberglass, aluminum, etc.
  • SANACORK is available in different colors and represents a design choice for those seeking a rustic and rugged effect.
  • SANACORK creates a sort of thin thermal finish (about 2 mm), very quick to apply and economical compared to other similar types of intervention.
  • SANACORK is considered a high-efficiency bio-architectural solution because, at a supply and installation cost in line with market demands, it guarantees good thermal insulation and sound absorption performance, positioning itself as an ecological and low environmental impact alternative to traditional cladding systems.

SANACORK IS

  • Permeable to water vapor;
  • Waterproof to rain on vertical walls;
  • Flexible, prevents surface cracks due to substrate shrinkage;
  • Thermal corrector, continuous coating that avoids thermal bridges;
  • Sound conditioner: reduces reverberation;
  • Resistant to salt spray;
  • Hypoallergenic
